Audio Monitors

The best output of a audio production in directly proportional to the reference monitors. Better judgement is made only with proper audio monitors.I use M-audio its better and low cost solution.

Tips for better Audition

Place the monitor in right position speaker exactly in striaght line to you ears.

Better power supply with good spike brusters.

Get a proper mounting for your monitor.

Do not close or cover your speaker with any covers or cloths.

Always make trials many times for your understing of monitor judgements because it may hear different in production.

Always hear the final out in different speakers of different brands to understand the output quality judgement.

What is MIDI?
MIDI (short for Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a music industry standard communications protocol that lets MIDI instruments and sequencers (or computers running sequencer software) talk to each other to play and record music. More and more of the music you hear every day is written with and played by MIDI sequencers.

MIDI is:Compact - Hours of music can fit on a single 3 1/2" floppy disk, thousands of songs on a CD Efficient - Just about any computer can handle it Powerful - A whole orchestra is at your command Versatile - A click of a button is all it takes to change key, tempo, instrument, etc. Intuitive - a MIDI file is just an electronic version of a player piano roll for many instruments Portable Industry Standard - Any MIDI instrument can talk to any other Why do I need MIDI?Bring your sheet music to life! Hear the music collecting dust on your shelf. If you can hear it, you can play it! See it play! Print out lead sheets. Arrange with Flexibility & Control - change tempo, transpose key, isolate parts, change feel and swing, accent, alternate lines, orchestrate Perform & Record - Play/sing along with ensembles, duets, trios, concertos, songs (with Lyrics) Low Price - cheaper and easier than buying a bunch of recordings or hiring others Easy to Use - compact, quicker than tapes. It takes only a second to start a file, cue to a section, etc.

What do I need to play MIDI songs?
Hardware:A Multimedia Computer (PC with sound card) OR A Dedicated Sequencer/Synthesizer OR Computer connected to a Sound Module/ Keyboard by a MIDI Interface
Sequencer Software:We’ve delivered to Mac, PC compatible and Atari users and support all major sequencers and keyboards. Windows users can play standard MIDI files with the Media Player. To gain all the control MIDI offers, we recommend you get a sequencer that can mute tracks, transpose, display and print the score. We sell a full range of sequencers and notation programs, and digital audio, too, starting at just over $10, the cost of a book.

How to Work with VSTi

Hi this is Stephen Selvaraj iam here to help you to work with virtual Instruments, today this is popular because we no need to buy special hardwares or nee w musical keyboards or Instruemts and all can be done in with our own computer.

There are number of plugins available in market today threre are so many free softwares too which you can download for free and use it.

Getting started
First you need a good computer not too professional at beginer level with minimum 1GB RAM
And a sound card this should be little professional i use M-audio Delta 4 in and 4 out its very cheap in market or some other soundcard with low latentcy

What happens using a normal sound card or sound blaster?
Yes you can use your normal sound card built in your computer but the response of sound is slower or i can say if you press a key in you music keyboard sound generates after few milliseconds or some delay in time so you playing is affected moreover there a is differencein quality of sound so better to go for professional soundcard.

You need a MIDI keyboard
You need a midi keyboard you can go for a only midi keyboard or you can use a keyboard with midi support there are many type of connectivity for midi usually a socket like pin called din pin its traditional midi pin for this you need a midi cable of now it come with simple USB cable.
